Our football team had a fantastic home match against St. Philip Howard School. It was a well-fought game, played fairly with no foul play, and we enjoyed every moment. Our HCFS girls showcased some impressive defense skills, whilst SPH scored some brillant goals. At the end of the match, there was a great display of sportsmanship, and all the hard work really showed.
The HCFS girls weren’t too concerned about the score; instead, they were proud of their focus, determination, and commitment. Great job, girls! Keep up the hard work and continue pushing forward! The final score was HCFS 0, SPH 3.

We travelled to Countess Anne to participate in our inaugural match of the Hatfield girls football league. Our defending was outstanding bolstered by several outstanding saves from our goalkeeper, Kaya. Ultimately, the score was Countess Anne 2, HCFS 0. While this may not have been the desired outcome, everyone performed exceptionally well.

Year 5/6 Boys Football Tournament.
The tournament proved to be an exceptional experience, with the team demonstrating remarkable determination. The initial match was challenging, concluding in a scoreless draw against St. Mary’s. In the subsequent game against Green Lanes, the team secured a narrow victory of 1-0, thanks to a goal from Jadie. The following match against St. Phillip Howard also ended in a draw with a score of 0-0. Ultimately, we finished second in our group, just behind St. Phillip Howard. After a period of waiting, we learned that our semi-final opponent would be Countess Anne.
Prior to the Semi Final we held a team discussion, and throughout the game, Cooper exhibited outstanding performance by saving every shot on goal. However, in the final 20 seconds, Countess Anne managed to score, leaving us devastated and heartbroken

Year 5/6 Girls Football Tournament
Our annual girls' football tournament at De Havilland was a fantastic event. Due to the withdrawal of some schools, the tournament was organized in a league format, culminating in a final to determine the champion. In the group stage, we commenced our campaign with a match against Green Lanes, which we won decisively with a score of four to nil. Our subsequent match was against Oakview a closely contested and challenging encounter. Although we faced defeat against De Havilland, we advanced to the semi-finals, where we unfortunately lost to Countess Anne. I am immensely proud of each of you; this is a fantastic achievement, and you should all take pride in your efforts.
