Modern Foreign Languages and Spanish at HCFS

Spanish at HCFS is taught by using and adapting the Language Angels Scheme to best suit the needs of our children. Explicit Spanish lessons are taught once a week in Key Stage 2 (Year 3-6). The lessons are 50  minutes long. These lessons aim to build on their confidence, understanding and fluency of the Spanish language through speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Language Angels

Language Angels provides teachers with weekly lessons that focus on either developing and consolidating a previously learnt skill or teaching a new one. Language Angels has been developed by an experience team of foreign language teaching specialist and linguists to make sure that they provide the richest learning experience possible.
