Mr Flynn took 14 girls from Y5/6 to attend the Tag Rugby Festival, hosted by Datchworth Rugby Club. A massive shout-out to the parents who were able to transport the girls to this event. It was greatly appreciated and without you, we would not have been able to attend this event.

The girls took part in a series of basic fundamental activities, to hone in their skills and learn what was needed to play the sport itself. They focused on the backwards and sideways passing element, the offside rule, the tag rule and much more. Safe to say the offside rule may need to be studied a bit more!

All the girls then took part in a 7v7 Tag Rugby Tournament against other schools. We managed to win 4 out of our 8 games, with Favour the highest try scorer. Well done Favour!

It was a brilliant event, really well set up and, as a school, we will definitely be back next year :)
