Whether they have been to the other side of the world or on a day trip to the seaside we would love to hear all about it! The children will be sharing their stores as well as finding out about different types of holidays and how they would prepare for anything from a skiing holiday in the snow to a hot and sunny beach holiday.

Next week we will be starting our new theme called ‘Super heroes’ The children will be taking part in cross curricular activities related to different superheroes such as, creating their own super hero and vehicle, writing about their super powers and talking about their favourite comic and super hero. During this theme the children will be learning about different types of transport such as cars and trains.

We will be looking into the history of each transport, talking about how the transport has changed over the years and when they were first invented.

This theme also gives the children the opportunity to be creative where they will design and make their own vehicles.

Let's Discover Theme Web

From Monday we begin our fantastic theme of Let’s Discover. This covers ‘All about me’ and ‘All about my family’.

This is great for teachers to get to know the children and their families. The children will take part in a variety of exciting and interactive activities. The children will have so much fun! Above you will find the theme web for this theme. This explains what the children will be learning about for the duration of the theme as well skills and core subjects of mathematics and Literacy.
